Header Image of Batteries with Fire Danger Warning

Don’t throw those batteries in ANY of your curbside collection carts! Batteries are flammable and can explode causing serious danger to people and machinery both during collection and at the processing facility.

Household batteries are considered hazardous waste and require special disposal.

See the video from ReGen Monterey when a battery fire is caught on camera at their processing facility. Help keep our workers safe and dispose of batteries the right way.
