The team at Mill Valley Refuse wants to offer our sincere and enthusiastic gratitude to Kylie Frame of Feed the Frontlines Marin for bringing our crew not one, but two days of delicious breakfasts.
Kylie, a senior at Tamalpais High School, contacted us offering to deliver meals to our team as a gesture of thanks from the community.
And boy, did she deliver!
Her first delivery (at 4:45 am!) was delectable croissants from Cibi Bakery, in Sausalito. The ham and cheese, almond, chocolate and apricot croissants were a huge hit.
On her second visit she delivered 75 delicious breakfast burritos from Shoreline Coffee Shop (who’s owner Ged Robertson accompanied Kylie on her first visit).
Both days in addition to delivering food, Kalie spent time talking to our drivers and our office staff lifting our spirts and bringing big smiles to our faces.
As essential workers, our team of drivers, mechanics and office staff are working hard to continue servicing our customers and greatly appreciate the gesture from Kylie and the business owners she works with. It means a lot to us.
